Dog story

Today, I have to go to the groomers, to get my hair did. I hate it because that lady holds me down and makes me take a bath. The only thing I love is when she is scratching my belly when she is washing me. It's the best! After she gets done bathing me, she trims me up, and makes me look real good! But then my owner makes me wait a couple of hours before she picks me up, so I have to sit in a lonely cage all by myself. Finally 5 hrs late she picks me up, and has a treat ready to give to me for being such a good dog. I sit in her lap as we drive and go home. Once a month, that is my routine of going to get groomed! :)

Everybody in this world has always been stuck on sports or even celebrities. That is all everyone ever talks about. If you even get on facebook, people are always fighting about sports, or who's going to win whatever game is going on at the time. Sports and Celebrities is constantly on every magazine you see. If someone risk their life for someone, it would be talked about for about a day, and then the next day nobody cares anymore. I think it's ridiculous. I think people should care about the things people are doing for others, instead of who won that game, or all the drama that Tiger Woods has caused. People need to stop concentrating on sports so much and look at what people are doing for others in life.

Call it a simple twist of fate — times two: A teenager in western New York state has saved the life of the same woman who years ago saved his life. Seven years ago, Kevin Stephan of Lancaster, N.Y., was a bat boy for his younger brother’s Little League baseball team. A player who was warming up accidentally hit him in the chest with a bat. Kevin’s heart stopped beating. “All I remember is that I dropped the bat off, and all of a sudden just got hit in the chest with something, and I turned around and passed out,” Stephan said. Fortunately, a nurse whose son played on that team was able to revive him and save his life. “I started CPR on him and he came back,” Penny Brown said. Stephan’s mother said he was extremely fortunate. Brown was supposed to be at work that night, but was given the day off at the last minute. Now comes the really interesting part. Last week that same nurse was eating at the Hillview Restaurant in Depew, N.Y., when she began to choke on her food. Witnesses say patrons were screaming for someone to help her.

“The food wasn’t going anywhere and I totally couldn’t breathe,” Penny said. “It was very frightening.”

Doing the Heimlich
Restaurant employees yelled for Stephan to come out and help. “They knew I was a volunteer firefighter and they called me over and I did the Heimlich, and I guess you could say I saved Mrs. Brown,” Stephan said.

At the restaurant, they realized the amazing twist of fate they had just witnessed. Seven years ago, Brown had saved Stephan's life. Now at age 17, he had returned the favor.

“It's almost unbelievable,” said Stephan, who is also an Eagle Scout.

“The fact that it has been two individuals, that you know, helped eachother out in a pretty dire situation, it's pretty extraordinary,” Brown said.

On Saturday, the two met again at the Bowmansville, N.Y., Fire Hall where Stephan is a junior firefighter. He presented her with a bouquet of flowers, and his parents were also there to greet Brown

Senior Poem

Senior Year is full of excitement
Something that everyone has looked forward to all there lives
knowing they are getting to graduate and get out of this town
It is the last of everything
Some people you will never see again
Some you will keep in touch with all your life
Most of us will just walk away, and slowly grow apart
Memories you will never forget
Four years ago I was starting my first day of high school
Now I'm about start my first day of college
As the days get closer, I get more nervous
because I know in a couple of months, Ill be on my own!

"But I did pay my bills"

Wow, I can't believe someone would actually tear someone's house for not paying her mortgage. They should have handled the situation a lot better, and gave her a notice. You don't do that to someone. For one, they didn't even have the right person, so if I was her, I would sue the people too. The "Bank of America" needs to find out for sure who it really is that didn't pay, and make sure they know for sure because they didn't even get the right person. They should have not of torn down the house, for something as stupid as that. Someone needs to get fired from there, and need to pay the consequences for what they did to this poor lady. :(
